NEFAZ JSC, a subsidiary / brunch of KAMAZ, has generalized the stored experience of power savings. So, since 2009 on instead of buying water for technological purposes at the municipal enterprise, the Neftekamsk truck factory has completely passed to supplying the manufacture by technical water from its own wells. The biochemical clearing unit, operating on NEFAZ, is unique and is intended for wastewater treatment so that the cleared water should be able to return to the system of turnaround water supply of the enterprise. The Neftekamsk truck factory uses complex technology of wastewater treatment. It includes biochemical processing of sewage by a group of sulfate-restoring bacteria, ozonization, and filtering, and thermal processing of waste solutions by coolants (CCF). The complex method of biochemical clearing of industrial sewage with use of bacteria is included into the short list of reagentless methods and is a phenomenon of natural self-cleaning. Besides, in 2010 the Neftekamsk truck factory has performed design works on modernization of heating system with application of infra-red gas burners, made by the French company SBM International. During the current year they will begin the reconstruction of heating system in two workshops. By calculations of economists, the project payout period will make 5,2 years, but it can be reduced if this heating system is introduced on other manufacturing areas. Application of infra-red gas burners provides twofold decrease of expense as compared to traditional heating. Economic benefit in the two workshops only will make about 1 million roubles a year. The Neftekamsk truck factory has developed and introduced the program of purposeful decrease in expenses for energy sources. In the course of process modernization they introduce those technologies only, which allow using less expensive energy carriers or sources of their own. First of all it is the use of natural gas instead of electric power. It allows reducing the specific expense of energy carriers for a unit of production. The start of the first colouring line for platforms with application of gas burners in drying chambers allowed reducing the expenses for energy sources for more than 4 million roubles a year.
